What Students Like Best About Being Valet Attendants

Valet Attendants

UCLA Student Valet Attendants serve an important role at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. Not only do they receive arriving vehicles, but they also act as ambassadors to UCLA by welcoming visitors and patients.

It's a fast-paced environment where students are able to learn many skills. Communication is vital as they interact with patients in often high-stress situations. They also learn to multitask as priorities change, and improve their parking skills as they're constantly behind the wheel.

The students themselves like that the position has flexible schedules, where they can work around their classes or extracurricular activities. They appreciate having one of the highest paying jobs on campus at $16.50 an hour. And it's a supportive team environment where they not only enjoy working with each other but also become friends.
